Mrs. Brittany Simpson is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Carson Newman University in 2010 and worked as an RN in trauma/surgical ICU at the University of Tennessee Medical Center for 5 years, before obtaining her Master of Science in Nursing at East Tennessee State University in 2015. She was a member of the Graduate Honor Society. She worked in family practice in Seymour, TN for 6 years prior to joining ECET.

Brittany has a personal history of Type 1 Diabetes and hopes to be a positive influence for others living with this disease.

Brittany is a life-long resident of East Tennessee. She is married and has 3 fur babies. She still lives on a portion of her family’s farm.
